Description
The Twinspeed Stove Fan is the best fan for large rooms because it has an exceptionally high air output – in excess of 442 CFM (cubic feet per minute) of air.
The Twinspeed Stove Fan will work on any medium to high heat wood stove or multi-fuel stove surface and has a start-up temperature of 120° C (248° F).
Named the Twinspeed for its twin piston cylinders, it provides high performance with maximum airflow.
When you use a Twinspeed Stove Fan you can reduce your wood usage by up to 22% and heat your room up to 40% faster.
If you are the owner of a diesel or catalytic stove, please read advice on the FAQs page.
See our Quick Guide on how to choose a stove fan.
Stirling Engine Design
Warpfive stove fans are small precision engineered Stirling engines, which are 100% mechanical and do not have any electric components which may stop working if overheated. Consequently they are extremely reliable and with care will last a lifetime.
Every engine is precision engineered and hand built with durable materials like stainless steel, aluminium, brass and Borosilicate glass. As a result they operate quietly – typically 12dB.
Advanced materials (such as graphite) and low friction bearings ensure low maintenance, plus heat flow is optimised with a silver thermodynamic heat plate.
Stirling engine stove fans have a high power output and low start up speed so they move large volumes of warm air.
Every engine is hand-crafted, assembled and tested in Great Britain.

Fantastic piece of equipment ! Very well made fan , it’s a joy to watch it at work !

I Love it, it works well, is very quiet and looks fantastic – a friend summed it up well – he used swear words, I’ve censored a little – “That’s Fred Dibnah as ****”

We love our warpfive twin speed. It moves so much air and helps keep the house so warm.

Thank for getting my order here so quickly. I’ve always wanted a Sterling engine but up until now they seemed frivolous. This machine has a purpose and works very well. Thanks for a great product. It’s a real conversation starter!!

Incredibly well engineered and beautiful product, looking forward to many years of use.

I’ve been using my Warpfive Twinspeed for over a week in my lounge. Comparison to cheap electric fans is a trade-off:
Pros: So pretty! So quiet! Maintainable for life. Everyone will want to see it.
Cons: Takes a bit more manual effort than an electric fan – you need to start it spinning after it gets warm. It runs on a higher minimum operating temperature (starts later and stops operating sooner). Doesn’t move quite as much heat (because it’s not so much a heat sink as a heat-powered fan).
I love it! Pros still win. You are paying for a work of art on your stove.

Absolutely fantastic. It does a great job of distributing the heat from a large wood stove in a 36’x40′ high-bay garage/workshop. It starts at a lower temp than I expected and is extremely quiet. Oh yeah, and it looks amazing!

Beautiful mechanical art. Great talking piece that is also functional. Requires a full temperature stove to work. If just taking the chill off with a warm stove you’ll want to supplement with fans that turn on at lower temperature.

I have wanted one of these fans for a long time now and had my eye on the special edition stove fan, I have now treated myself for a special occasion, And what a treat it is! This stunning piece of engineering and show piece to be admired. From order to delivery and to after sales advice, I cannot recommend enough.

Fan too noisy and doesn’t push warm air from stove. I returned but told I would not receive full refund due to discolouration of the metal from exposure to heat. This would polish out but deducted £75 being genuine I returned the item and did not
Polish it out before hand. I’ve asked for the base to be returned to me if I’m forced into purchasing it. No use apparently because it cannot be resold.
Overall conclusion, expensive ornament, I would not personally purchase this item again, nor anything similar.

Fan came well packaged and is working well

Fan is expensive but definitely an eye pleaser

I’m delighted with my Twinspeed fan.
Many reviews talk about how well built the fan is, and how mesmerising it is to watch. This is certainly true. However what is really valuable to me is its performance and functionality.
It’s extremely quiet when running, and most importantly, it enables me to circulate the heat from one 5Kw stove around several rooms. This raises the temperature in the adjoining spaces significantly.
I have good quality standard stove fans that outperform most others, but this works on a whole new level and is definitely worth the investment.

I’ve wanted to get a Warp five fan as a Christmas present for my dad for the last couple of years, but have always left it too late and they have been sold out, hence the early pruchase this year. As such it hasnt been tested yet. That said the customer care I recieved was swift, informative and very helpful. The fan arrived in less than 48hrs of purchase, and was securely packaged. I would highly recommend Warp five fans to anyone wanting to get a unique fan for thier stove or log burner.

I am a fan (sorry about the pun) of Stirling engines. The Twinspeed is my third and the largest I have to date. I did not purchase the unit for air movement but more as an enhancement of our wood stove. The quality is excellent and it worked right out of the box. The other two Stirling engines required assembly and I was happy to simply unpack and use. The Twinspeed is so quiet and that is testimony to the quality. Our wood stove is too big for the size of the house and we don’t have to keep a hot fire going all the time. As a result the stove top regularly drops below the minimum for the Twinspeed to operate. The downside of Stirling engines is they don’t self start. When I put wood in during the night I don’t stay up long enough for the stove to heat up and I can start the engine so it is not running for a good part of the day. I expect the engine would run continuously on a smaller wood stove. Stainless steel turns a bronze colour with heat. The base of the Twinspeed has taken on a wonderful bronze hue that adds to its beauty.

Received my fan right on time, and used it right away. It runs very smooth and quite. I use it along with a couple of electric fans which seems very loud, but I feel is necessary to move the wood stove heat to where it’s needed. We recently had a power outage and only used the Warp5 fan, and it did a great job by itself! It is a very high quality and everyone who sees it is always drawn to it!

Received my Warpfive Twinspeed fan a week ago but couldn’t try it out as was wanting to give the wood burner a clean and reseal around the flue connection. Got that completed today and tried out the fan, really impressed with how smooth it is. I would recommend this fan to anyone, precision engineered and worth every penny.

Received the Twinspeed today. When I was unboxing it, I could immediately feel the quality craftsmanship. I was hoping to receive it before it started to get cold. Shipping was very fast! Received the tracking number, and received it in 4 days (US). Haven’t tried it yet, but when I do, I feel it will circulate the warm air in my living room. If I may make a suggestion for the dust cover. Maybe make a cover out of high-temp pyrex, or plastic that could withstand a hotter temperature. I think I have enough space on top of my wood-burning stove to position it so the temperature won’t affect the cover. I will update my review after it has run a few night.

Received my twinspeed and glasshopper stove fans last week. Arrived after their long journey in excellent condition, nice to see the packaging is recycled/recyclable materials. The engineering and construction of these fans is second to none. Work like a dream and very quiet! Thoroughly enjoy watching them in action, almost mesmerizing. ????? from me.

I just want you all to know that I’m extremely pleased with your product!!! Shipping to the USA was super quick-(4 days) with a tracking number so I knew when it would arrive. The quality and craftsmanship is more than I expected. This fan will pay for itself in about 2 years and will last for many years, probably generations. A YouTube channel called Wranglerstar showed, in detail this very same fan that he had in his shop, I was instantly interested and determined to get one. Thanks Again, from across the pond.

As the twinspeed fan was to be a Christmas present (for myself) and I had no idea of delivery time, it was ordered in plenty of time. It was delivered very promptly, so had to be kept under wraps for the best part of the month. It is beautifully crafted. I note that the fan is direct drive with a bigger fan rather than a geared-up belt drive as illustrated. I think this is more elegant and avoids the procurement of replacement drive belts. We have used a thermo-electric fan for some years. That is rather smaller and operates at lower temperatures, but is nothing like as interesting in operation. Placement of the Twinspeed is more critical because of its relative size but can be accommodated within the footprint of the stove top, fortunately there is no flue to beware of. I have yet to work out how to realistically compare the performance of the two fans, but the real beauties of the Twinspeed is its aesthetic appeal and as a demonstrator of the principle of the stirling cycle and, hopefully, a teaching aid for some of the laws of thermodynamics, I look forward to the grandchildren being old enough! Congratulations on a beautiful little machine. I look forward to many years of service.

THANKYOU. Fast, accurate and a truly excellent experience in dealing with you from the first phone call to the delivery. The Twinspeed is everything your website and YouTube hinted at. A great addition to heating our house and it’s also good enough simply to stare at!!

It is a beautifully made fan and its appearance is modern, stylish and effective.
