Description
Windjammer: Iconic Vintage Table Fan, Powered by AlcoholÂ
The Windjammer is a faithful tribute to the vintage cooling fans that were popular centerpieces in the 1800s. Its iconic design elevates any table or desk, providing a functional piece of art that seamlessly blends retro style with modern engineering. This is more than just a fan; it is a conversation piece, maintaining a stunning, classic look while delivering exceptional performance.
At the heart of the Windjammer is a precision Stirling engine, driving an airflow of over 442 CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute)—an exceptional output for a fan of its kind. New for this model, the engine features a precision-machined metal crank, ensuring superior longevity and a consistently smooth, whisper-quiet operation, typically running at just 12dB. Once filled, the engine will run continuously for approximately 12 hours.
The Windjammer is exclusively powered by a bespoke, integrated alcohol burner. For the cleanest performance, we recommend using bio ethanol fuel, which is an excellent choice as it produces a clean, smokeless form of heat. This fuel generates no harmful gasses, sparks, or soot, and boasts similar CO2Â emissions to a burning candle, making the Windjammer a highly environmentally friendly and attractive appliance. Alternatively, denatured alcohol such as Methylated Spirits can also be used.
For enhanced enjoyment, the Windjammer features an integral essential oil diffuser, allowing you to gently spread your favourite fragrance throughout your home while the fan operates.

Stirling Engine DesignÂ
Warpfive fans are small precision engineered Stirling engines, which are 100% mechanical and do not have any electric components which may stop working if overheated. Consequently, they are extremely reliable and with care will last a lifetime.
Every engine is precision engineered and hand built with durable materials like stainless steel, aluminium, brass, and Borosilicate glass. This includes the new full metal anodised crank assembly, which is designed for exceptional smoothness and durability. As a result, the fan operates quietly – typically just 12dB.
Advanced materials (such as graphite) and the latest low friction bearing system, working in conjunction with the full metal crank, ensure low maintenance and maximum RPM. Heat flow is meticulously optimised with a silver thermodynamic heat plate.
Stirling engine fans have a high power output and low start up speed, allowing them to move large volumes of air (over 322 CFM).
Every engine is hand-crafted, assembled, and tested in Great Britain.

Beverly –
I just received my Windjammer fan and love it. This is my third purchase from Warpfive. Their service is beyond compare to anyone else. Communication and the delivery prompt. And the products are top notch. I also have a stove top fan and a Stove thermometer. Love them all.

You made me very happy with your really nice engine!!! And I was surprised when the postman came with your (very professional) packed engine already three day’s after my order- from the UK to me to Germany!!! The function is as perfect as the engine looks like. I also like to let it run if I don’t need to distribute the heat in my living room. I enjoy this engine every day if I enter my living room!!! Thank you very much indeed!!!

I have had my Windjammer for about three weeks now and it easily has over ten hours operating time. The build quality and materials used are A1! I have set my wick flush with the top of the burner neck and with this small flame the engine can be started within a minute. Once warmed up, the engine has a good speed with this small flame and no noise or vibration! Very pleased to add this engine to my collection!
